Coffee Board participated in 18th Annual Conference & Exhibition of Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) held in Charlotte, North Carolina, US from 7-10 April, 2006. This annual specialty coffee exhibition & conference being held in different cities of the US every year is now universally recognized as the biggest confluence of thousands of specialty coffee traders of both the US and rest of the world. This year's Annual event held in Charlotte, North Carolina State was attended by nearly 10,000 coffee industry representatives from all over the world. Coffee Board has been participating in this annual event regularly since the past several years and this has paved the way for establishment of excellent rapport between many prominent Specialty coffee traders of the world and our specialty coffee exporters.
The Board had set up a spacious stall displaying very attractive colour blow ups depicting the unique aspects of Indian Coffee, the special and specialty coffees of India, various literatures on coffee etc.
Hundreds of the coffee traders who visited the Board's pavilion and interacted with us were offered both espresso and filter coffees prepared out of specialty coffees from India. They were also provided with attractive literatures/DVDs etc. on coffees of India.
The following are excerpts of comments recorded by some of the trade visitors to our stall who had a taste of Indian Coffee.

- "IL. Uostro Caffe Molto Buono" (Italian) means "your coffee is excellent" - Pardo/Lucia, Italian Cafe owner in Northern Italy.
- "Le Cafiest extraorfinaire" (French) means "Coffee is extraordinary" - Lady coffee trader from Canada.
During our participation we have received scores of trade enquiries from coffee traders from several countries of the world.
